Distinguish acknowledgement, objection and a position statement
Zur Kenntnis nehmen heißt noch nicht zustimmen
Identify what a reply actually does and keep an objection to a proposed remedy separate from denial of an experience.
The reception acknowledges the report and promises to raise it internally. That does not amount to accepting the proposed permanent afternoon deliveries. The housekeeping objection concerns that particular remedy, not whether guests heard noise. Taking a position is a step in discussion; requesting it does not settle the outcome. Read each noun–verb expression with its object and the reported stage of the exchange.
Wir nehmen Ihren Hinweis zur Kenntnis.

Die Empfangsleiterin bringt das Thema in der Besprechung zur Sprache.
The reception manager raises the issue in the meeting.
Die Hauswirtschaft erhebt einen Einwand gegen die pauschale Verschiebung.
Housekeeping raises an objection to the blanket rescheduling.
Die Bereiche sollen zu einer begrenzten Anpassung Stellung nehmen.
The departments are to state their position on a limited adjustment.
Der Einwand bestreitet nicht die Wahrnehmung der Gäste.
The objection does not deny what the guests perceived.
Die Beratung hat begonnen; eine endgültige Entscheidung steht noch aus.
The discussion has begun; a final decision is still pending.

Identify what a reply actually does and keep an objection to a proposed remedy separate from denial of an experience.
Do not turn an acknowledgement into approval of a remedy, an objection to a proposal into denial of a reported experience, or a requested statement into a completed decision.
Zur Kenntnis nehmen concerns acknowledging information; zur Sprache bringen concerns raising a topic; einen Einwand erheben concerns objecting to a specified point; Stellung nehmen concerns stating a position. These are different communicative actions, not interchangeable labels for agreement.
Write a 250–300-word German reply to the travel group. Acknowledge the experience, explain the precise scope of the objection, identify the next consultation step and avoid promising a change not yet decided. Use three of the lesson’s fixed expressions with clear objects.
