With the modal verb in a weil-clause, write weil ich arbeiten muss: infinitive arbeiten, then finite muss. Weil ich muss arbeiten is incorrect. Also include the reason and alternative requested by the task.
Task coverage before decoration: reason, alternative and requested reply. Weil … verb last; modal verb + infinitive at end.
Write 60–80 words to Frau Berg: you cannot attend Tuesday at 14:00 because you work until 15:00; propose Thursday 10:00 and ask whether it is possible. Include a formal opening/closing. Self-check all three points, understandable order and Sie/Ihnen; ask a partner to review it if available.
