Recognise a suggestion, understand a reported instruction and ask for clarification.
Du solltest … and Sie sollten … express a recommendation: Du solltest in der Praxis anrufen. Learn them as useful polite patterns here. Sollen can report an instruction from someone else: Die Praxis sagt, ich soll meinen Ausweis mitbringen. The infinitive goes to the end, and separable verbs stay together: mitbringen. Dürfen expresses permission; nicht dürfen means something is not permitted. If an instruction is unclear, ask Könnten Sie das bitte wiederholen? or Was bedeutet …? These exercises practise communication, not medical decision-making.

After soll, use the joined infinitive mitbringen, not bringe mit. Do not confuse recommendation and permission: sollte is “should”; darf is “may”. Ask when you do not understand an instruction instead of guessing.
Recommendation: du solltest / Sie sollten + infinitive. Reported instruction: ich soll … mitbringen. Permission: dürfen.
