kein ผันเหมือน ein: kein Auto, keine Zeit, keinen Kaffee

nicht ปฏิเสธคำคุณศัพท์ได้: nicht heiß

ในรูปแบบนี้ใช้ nicht ปฏิเสธการกระทำ: Ich arbeite heute nicht.

คำนามที่มีคำนำหน้าชี้เฉพาะมักใช้ nicht เมื่อเปรียบต่าง เช่น nicht der Bus

Ich habe kein Auto.

Ich arbeite heute nicht.

Der Kaffee ist nicht heiß.
