Read future completion and conjecture in context
Wird abgeschlossen haben: Zukunft oder Rückblick?
Interpret Futur II with its time reference and evidence status rather than treating every werden form as a guarantee.
Bis Freitag werden wir … abgeschlossen haben looks ahead to expected completion by a future reference time. Sie wird … übersehen haben is a conjecture about a possible past event in this conversation. The same construction can serve these different readings; the time phrase and situation matter. The later message contradicts the guess about overlooking the time, but does not remove the separate condition attached to Friday’s forecast.
By Friday we will have completed the review.
The forecast applies only if the feedback arrives today.
Sie wird die neue Anfangszeit übersehen haben.
She will probably have overlooked the new start time.
This conjecture is not yet evidence of the reason for the absence.
The colleague later reported a connection failure.
The new explanation does not change the separate condition attached to the timetable.

Interpret Futur II with its time reference and evidence status rather than treating every werden form as a guarantee.
Do not turn the conditional Friday forecast into an unconditional guarantee, or retain an earlier conjecture as fact after a new message has contradicted it.
Futur II uses a form of werden plus a perfect infinitive: abgeschlossen haben or angekommen sein. A future time phrase can frame anticipated completion; in another context the construction expresses a supposition about an earlier event. Form alone does not prove either certainty or actual completion.
Write a 250–300-word German update for the client. Distinguish current work, conditional Friday completion, the earlier conjecture and the colleague’s later explanation. Include two Futur-II examples with clearly different time references and label the evidence status of each.
