Writing a reply that answers the message
Danke für die Nachricht. Ich komme später und bringe Brot mit.
Answer all requested points in a short connected reply with the appropriate tone.
Before writing, underline each question or request. A useful reply answers those points in the same clear order. Add a brief reason where needed, but do not change the original arrangement without saying so. An informal friend gets du/dein and a suitable greeting; a formal contact gets Sie/Ihr. Connect a reason with weil and a result with deshalb, checking the verb position. End with a question only when information really is missing. Proofread names, times and actions: a beautifully written reply can still fail to answer the actual message.
Danke für deine Nachricht.
Thank you for your message.
Am Samstag komme ich gern.
I would be happy to come on Saturday.
Ich kann erst um siebzehn Uhr da sein.
I can only be there at five.
Ich komme später, weil ich bis sechzehn Uhr arbeite.
I am coming later because I work until four.
Das Brot bringe ich mit.
I will bring the bread.
Sag mir bitte, ob das für dich passt.
Please tell me whether that works for you.

In weil ich bis sechzehn Uhr arbeite, the conjugated verb arbeite goes last; weil ich arbeite bis sechzehn Uhr has the wrong order. Separately, answer every requested point, not just the food question.
Read the requests → answer each → explain relevant change → check time, person and tone.
Reply in 50–70 words to a friend asking: Can you come on Saturday? What time? Can you bring bread? You work until 16:00 and can arrive at 17:00. Include a reason and an appropriate closing.
