Compare two products using a comparative or express that they are equal.
For a comparison, many adjectives add -er: günstig → günstiger, klein → kleiner. Some change their vowel: groß → größer. Teuer becomes teurer. Use als for a difference: A ist günstiger als B. For equality, use so + adjective + wie: A ist so teuer wie B. Common irregular forms include gut → besser and viel → mehr. The adjective after ist has no extra adjective ending here: Der Rucksack ist günstiger.

Difference: comparative + als. Equality: so + adjective + wie. gut → besser; teuer → teurer.
